Vorig jaar augustus was de tewaterlating van onze boot TREES. Dit voorjaar bleek echter de mast gescheurd, reparaties volgden.
Maar nu, staan de zeilen erop en vaart Lief haar morgen naar Friesland. Binnenkort kun je ons zien zeilen op de Friese Meren, ahoy!

August last year was the launching of our boat TREES. This spring showed that the mast was torn, repairs followed.
But now, the sails are on and tomorrow Love will sail her to Friesland. Soon you will see us sailing on the Frisian lakes, ahoy!

This is so exciting. We have landed ourselves in this tiny seaside harbor town in Massachusetts. Marblehead. I haven’t ventured out much, only arrived last night. We did get a peek of the boats bobbing in the water today, only down the street! The house we are in has paintings and books of life on the sea. It’s a world I am unfamiliar with and can’t wait to know.
